WANT TO BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE?
Neurological conditions interfere with the way our bodies move and how we receive feedback about these movements. You may have problems planning a movement, producing a movement, co-ordinating a movement, controlling a movement or feeling a movement. This in turn affects what you are able to do in your daily life.
We use our extensive experience in movement analysis to assess the impact of your condition upon your body, your ability to move and the life you wish to lead.
We use our in-depth knowledge and understanding of the body and central nervous system to guide our interventions.
We use a problem-solving approach to harness the most efficient movements possible within the limitations of your condition.
Any movement impairment can have a secondary impact on muscles and joints. We seek to optimise your function by preparing them for movement and then harnessing that into activities that you need to complete within your daily life, e.g. washing, dressing, eating or getting from A to B.
We will often guide your body’s movements to give you the sense of what a movement feels like, allowing you the opportunity to replicate it and repeat it between your therapy sessions.
